Revelation 21 10-22

Weekly Book Of Revelation

            Paraphrased

10 - And he (an angel) carried me (John) in the Spirit to a great and high mountain, and showed me the Holy City, Jerusalem, coming down from heaven, from God. 11 It was radiant with the glory of God, like a stone most precious, like jasper, and clear as crystal. 12 It had a great, high wall of twelve gates, with twelve angels at the gates. And on them were written the names of the twelve tribes of Israel. (All believers are “grafted INTO Israel” Ro.11:17-26.) 13 There were three gates facing east, three facing north, three south and three west. 14 The wall of the city had twelve foundations, and on them were the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb. 15 The angel who talked with me had a measuring rod of gold with which to measure the city, the gates and the walls. (Side Note - a rod is a measuring stick, the “iron rod” Jesus will rule the nations with is Truth, which is unbreakable, an unbreakable measure, that breaks all that is not true.) 16 The city was square, and as long as it was wide. He measured the city with the rod and found it to be 12,000 stadia in length, and as wide and high as it is long. [Stadia - a greek measurement, stadium length, the length of a race course,  furlong which is an 8th of a mile - 12,000 stadia, between 1,300 to 1,400 miles?) 17 The angel measured the wall using human and angel measurement, and it was 144 cubits thick. 18 The wall was of jasper, the city of pure gold, and pure as glass. 19 The foundations of the city walls were adorned with every kind of precious stone. The city had twelve foundations, each made of a precious stone, the first jasper, the second sapphire, the third agate, the fourth emerald, 20 the fifth onyx, the sixth ruby, the seventh chrysolite, the eighth beryl, the ninth topaz, the tenth turquoise, the eleventh jacinth, and the twelfth amethyst. 21 The twelve gates were of pearl, each gate made of a single pearl. The great street of the city was of gold, as pure and clear as glass. 22 I didn’t see in the city, a temple, because the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are its temple.

Daniel 12 Study

Paraphrased And Condensed With

    Suggested Interpretation

(Summation of the Matter) 1 “At that time” the angel [like a man in linen] continued, “the great prince Michael, who has the watch over your people, will stand up. And there will be a time of trouble (began with a pale horse ride?) such as there hasn’t been since there was a nation. Even to the time when your people shall be delivered, everyone whose name can be found written in the book. 2 (When?) Many of those who sleep in the dust of earth shall awaken, some to enduring life, and some to shame and of long duration contempt [deraon - aversion, abhorrence]. (Jn.5:28,29) 3 And those who are wise will shine like the radiance of the sky above, and those who turn many to righteousness [tsadeq or tsadoq - just or righteous, from tsedeq - rightness, righteousness, what is right], like the stars forever [olam - long duration, antiquity, futurity] and ever [ad - perpetuity, from adah - adorn, pass on, advance].

4 But you, Daniel, close the book and seal it, until the time of the end [qets, pronounced kates - end, course, farthest border, highest peak, limit]. Many shall run-to-and-fro [shuwt - about, go quickly] and knowledge shall increase [rabah - multiply].”

5 Then I, Daniel, looked, and behold, two others stood, one on one side of the stream and one on the other side of the stream. 6 And one of them said to the man clothed in linen, who was above the waters of the stream, “Until when (for how long?) shall be the end [limit, fulfillment] of these wonders [pele - wonders, extraordinary, hard to be understood]?” 7 And I heard the man clothed in linen, who was above the waters of the stream. He raised his right hand and his left hand toward heaven. And he swore by he who lives forever that it would be for a time [moed - appointed time] times, and half a time. When the power [yad - hand, reach (influence?)] of the holy [qodesh - apartness, sacred] people is spent/finished and sundered, coming to an end, then all these things will be completed. (Rev.13:5-7!)

8 I heard, but I did not understand. Then I said, “O my lord, what will be the outcome of all this?” 9 He said, “Go your way, Daniel, the words are shut up and sealed until the time of the end. 10 Many shall be purified [barar - purified, selected, purged, polished] and made white [laban - brick, white] and be refined [tsaraph - smelted, refined, tested]. But the wicked shall act wickedly. None of the wicked shall understand [bin - discern] but those who are wise shall understand [bin - discern].

11 And (it is/will be) days 1,290, from the time is taken away [sur - turned aside, removed] (the) perpetual [tamid - (the) continual] and is set up [nathan - give, put, set] (the) abomination [shiqquts - detested thing, abomination] (of) desolation [shamem - (the) desolate, apalling, devoid, barren, ruination]. [[From the time the perpetual (sacrifices/of prayers?) is taken away/removed (Lk.19:41,44?) and the (including final) abomination that desolates is set up (the final desolation upon the human temple meant for God’s Spirit/Presence?) shall be 1,290 days - which is 3.5 hebrew years, plus 30 days. Between the taking away and the setting up.]]

12 Blessed (it is) [esher - happiness, blessedness] to wait [chakah - to wait, awaiting] and arrive/come to the day/days 1,335. 13 But go your way Daniel. You shall rest and shall arise into your allotted place at the end of days/completion.” (1,290 + 45days = day 1,335?)

What I get from the Book of Daniel, concerning prophecy for today, is - ignoring Rev.7:1,3 where the world has been for some time - but is hidden, veiled, sealed - pun intended - by “the seals” being described as their full and complete effects, from their first occassion to their very last. See? In this way, very last day conditions are portrayed at the beginning of the vision. Hiding much of the vision.

But.. we can’t ignore Rev.7:1,3! Because everything else rests on it. For (surely?) it will be interrupted in some way, means or fashion. A crises. A consolidating of power. Then (surely?) comes the much lauded seven year treaty - not that it’s ratified to last seven years (logically) but that it shall, alas, only last seven years. It is of course broken in the middle against Israel when their perpetual (sacrifices, and, or place of?) is taken away, turned aside, stopped.. Lk.19:41,44 - “Oh Jerusalem!” - and anything in an imperfect state - “Not one stone, Jerusalem, will be left in you upon another..” (Hello?)

And then 3.5 hebrew years of 360 days, plus 30 days (a hebrew leap year?) later -> shall be set up a final abomination (appalling and abhorrent thing - imperfection/straying is an abyss of potential, something) which desolates. And happy the one/those who wait, and come to, day/the days 1,335. Which is 45 days later?

✌🏼☮️🕊️

…There’ll be a lot of normalcy.. try to be in all ways prepared..?

The war is east and west.. gog and magog? ..”clay and iron won’t really cleave”.. the iron/bronze settled with the faith, but the faith has “fallen away” Dn.7:7,19, Rev.13:1.. As far as wickedness, the dove and vulture (the iron and the clay) ..be gathered as wheat, or gathered as tare (to armageddon).. “the field is the world” not just the churches.. we should be as (discreet?) watchmen on the walls.. if folks can see the truth of prophecy they will see the truth of Jesus.. who “will draw all” Jn.12:32. 1Cor.3:16.

BOOK OF REVELATION IN PICTURES - LESSON SEVEN - A LASTING PARADISE

Shrouded in Mystery...

How does it all end?

Where do we go from there?

~

#1 - Jesus returns, all believers are resurrected.
Jesus sets up a 1,000 year rule on Earth.

#2 - Shortly after His 1,000 year reign..
The rest of all mankind are resurrected
and there is a Great 'Day' of Review
of all history...

#3 - Then the New Heavenly City called
New Jerusalem and the Very Throne of God
will Come to the Earth..

"Behold I make all things new.." Revelation 21:5

"God shall dwell with mankind.. will wipe away every tear..
there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying.." Revelation 21:3,4

"The Son Himself will also be subject to Him, who put
all things under Him, that God may be all in all."
1 Corinthians 15:28 (21-28)

And then shall it be said of all - "...They
shall sit each under his own vine, and fig tree,
and there is none troubling.."
Micah 4:4

"The lion will eat straw like the ox..

...and the bear will graze with the cow.."
 - Isaiah 11:7

He (surely!) is Life itself,
and also Perfection.

We are learning good from evil
Life from death..?

...an unavoidable lesson, and journey?
If we are to be rational creatures?
For with thinking ability,
comes the ability to
make choices..?
~

When He endowed thinking ability, surely(?)
A whole new world (tree) of possibilities came about.
If He is Life and Perfection, does that make imperfection the opposite of Life?
Surely(?) Perfect makes no mistakes, and can lose nothing.
Could any mortal ever dream of a better
"happily ever after"
than He can
?

"With God all things
are possible."
Mk 10:27

Revelation #6 - Last Ten Of 45 Days

 ~ ~ ~ This is Prophecy Sentence Part 6 ~ ~ ~
= [R.20:4b\R.2:10 + Dan.12:12] ( = part of the prophecy sentence, 1st of 2 )
Revelation 20:4b/2:10
"...and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded.. ...and you will have" (this?) "tribulation for ten days.."
Daniel 12:12 (Young's Literal Translation)
"Blessed is he that waits, and comes to the 1,335 days." [Daniel 12:11 - "and from the time of the turning aside of the perpetual [sacrifice], and to the giving out of the desolating abomination, [are] days 1,290." Daily sacrifice/place of, removed, 1,290 days later - the giving out of the desolating abomination. Blessed is he who comes to the 1,335th day.

Revelation #1 - The Bible Tells Us All Things - (USA)
Revelation #2 - Fat Man and Little Boy
Revelation #3 - Not Even One Stone
Rev #4 - Drought Ends World Peace
Rev #5 - A Happy Dragon
Rev #6 - Last Ten Of 45 Days
Rev #7 - Crash In One Hour
The whole sentence:  R.12:14(USA) + (R.6:12-17 + 13:13@1945) + (Mt.24:1,2 + Dan.12:11a) + [Lk.23:31 + R.12:16 + Mk.13:8] + [Dan.12:11,12 + R.13:17 + Mt.24:15] = [R.20:4b\R.2:10 + Dan.12:12] + (R.18:2-19,24 + 17:2)
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
In other words, what I have gathered will likely unfold concerning Bible 'end' times prophecy is there will be a seven year peace treaty of the nations of the world. (Or just in the Middle East as some think?) In "the midst" or middle of this 'peace' the Wailing Wall, a place of daily worship and petition in Jerusalem, will be taken away and removed. And roughly three and one half years later, the "abomination which desolates" (666) will be "set-up" affecting "buying and selling" for forty five days, with the last ten days becoming critical (Revelation 20:4b and 2:10). [Daniel 9:27; 12:11,12 and Matthew 24:1,2]

Revelation #3 - Not Even One Stone

~ ~ ~ This is Prophecy Sentence Part 3 ~ ~ ~
(Mt.24:1,2 + Dan.12:11a)
Matthew 24:1,2 - New American Standard Bible (NASB) - "Jesus came out from the temple and was going away when His disciples came up to point out the temple buildings to Him. And He said to them, 'Do you not see all these things?' (the Temple Complex) "Truly I say to you, not one stone here will be left upon another, which will not be torn down'.”
- http://www.bibleplaces.com/westernwall.htm - (The) Western Wall "...was built by Herod the Great as the retaining wall of the Temple Mount complex." (The Second Temple; the one standing in the time of Jesus.) "Three times a day the Jewish people pray (morning, afternoon, evening) and they do so with phylacteries tied around their forehead and wrist and with the white and blue prayer shawls."
- http://wall.therefugeonline.org/ - "..the wailing wall in Jerusalem is a holy place, at every hour, men and women can be found praying at the wall, slips of paper with wishes or prayers are stuffed into the crevices and crannies of the wall.. crying out to God for help, seeking guidance, thanking, hoping, asking.. to share your prayer request at our wailing wall, fill in the form below..." (1 Peter 2:5 - "You.. as lively stones.. offer up spiritual sacrifices" (of prayer, thanksgiving, etc)
Daniel 12:11{a} - King James Version (KJV) - "And {from the time that the" (place of?) "daily sacrifice shall be taken away}, and the abomination that makes desolate set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days."

The Heartbroken Prophet

Poor Hosea. He lived in hard times, a time hard to find a good wife. Prophet for the Most High God of the Bible, during a time when the nation was, let's say very sexually active. Finally God said "Go ahead, get yourself a wife from the nation, she'll symbolize the unfaithfulness of my people".

Now lest we get on our high horse and judge Israel, it's not hard to see Israel is but a micro example of the macro situation.. the world has wandered far from the One who created it as a garden of peace and delight.

It's been said of prophet Hosea, "his sentences fall like the throbs of a broken heart." His wife had run off with another man, likely one who could pamper her with luxury. Hosea's heart was broken. This, God said, was the exact same thing Israel (and mankind) had done to him. Like sheep gone astray, Israel then, and the world now, has wandered far away from Him and life's simple garden of peace and delight. We could truthfully say God's heart mourns.

Mourning the unfaithfulness of his wife, Hosea, wrote that he "bought her back". Before we judge them too harshly, let's note it was a day when religion (other than Israel's) involved sex rites in the shade of lush groves. "The spirit of harlotry leads them astray" Hosea recorded, "and Most High God is a stranger to them".

This marriage was an example of God's marriage to mankind, and Israel, appointed to prophecy, to record the words of Scripture, and to be the place a little bit prepared for the rescuer, Messiah, whom it is prophesied will return and restore paradise and eternal life, after the course of mankind and world history has run its course. You see, God too, has "bought back" His unfaithful wife.

Before God sent Hosea to prophecy, He had sent Elijah, Elisha and Amos. Meanwhile, He also had sent Jonah to preach to Nineveh the capital of Assyria. You see Assyria was a great nation whose main theme and occupation was conquest, and they had their eye on Israel.

Back when Israel was faithful to God, His radiant Spirit (His Presence with them) was a shield round about them. But this could no longer be said. Mighty Nineveh, and all Assyria amended their ways at the preaching of Jonah, long enough to delay their aggressive conquest of Israel, what God called "fiery judgment".

In the day when mighty Assyria was getting ready to pounce on Israel, Israel, according to the Bible, had, for some time, fallen prey to practices of the popular religion of the day, which had progressed into human sacrifice, especially of infants and children. Sex rites brought about what was likely many unwanted babes, and it doesn't seem too big a leap to assume one had to do with the other, a natural progression if you will.

What Almighty God worth his salt wouldn't cease to protect a people who had adopted such horrific practice!

Bible prophet Hosea never did say how he and his (once) unfaithful wife got on. Did they end their days in peace and grow old together? Assyria did come, make war with and terrify Israel, and carried the people away with them back to Assyria, to be the slaves they had become. But a few poor folk of the land had been left behind. I like to think Hosea and his wife, Gomer, found peace and happiness in the end.

And as for Israel? (The northern ten tribes of Israel that is.. the ones some think of as "the lost ten tribes of Israel, but that's another story.)

God also said through His prophets that Messiah would regather and restore Israel. They would turn to Him and the nations would stream to Jerusalem to learn. And Jerusalem/Israel will become the beautiful and verdant capital of a New Earth within a New Heavens, where the "lion will eat straw like the ox, and the bear will be seen grazing with the cow" (paraphrased just a little).

Amos The Farmer Prophet And Preacher

Amos, a "herdsman" and "gatherer of wild figs" was one of the early prophets. Though of the nation of Judah (and one half tribe of Benjamin) he went north to the (lost) ten tribes of Israel to prophecy "two years before the earthquake".
- First He prophesied against nations around Israel who had terrified and mistreated Israel. The predictions were simple. Yahweh, most high God, would judge them with fire.

It had been two hundred years ago that ten of the tribes of Israel had separated from Jerusalem and the worship there, and had set up "a golden calf" in Bethel to represent their god and way of worship. But they also mixed in with their religion, observances to Yahweh (most high God).

Amos told them God was not fooled. He knew they had jimmied the scales and sold to the poor using a false set of weights and balances. He knew they cheapened their products and raised the rates, and they had become wealthy and proud off the poor. And were robbing them still.

Amos prophesied and promised the consequences of oppressing and cheating the poor in order to be rich. The ten tribes nation of Israel could expect an earthquake, an eclipse, funerals and a famine.

(I've been asking the Lord, when will I know I, or loved ones after me, should be storing up some water, food and blankets. Could this be it? A prophecy parallel, like Bible prophecy almost always parallels, that is has two fulfillments, one for its time and another for the peak of man's history, story and lesson, commonly called "last days".)

Like just about all the prophets, Amos concluded his message by prophesying a golden age of Israel (with Jerusalem as capital of the Earth) when "the plowman shall overtake the reaper.. the juice of grapes shall drip down the mountains and all the hills shall run with it".

"I will bring about the restoration of my people Israel" said the LORD through Amos' preaching, "they will rebuild and inhabit.. they will plant vineyards and drink the wine, plant gardens and eat the fruit.. and never again will they be plucked from their land".
