9 - And the angel said to me (disciple John, seeing the vision in his old age while a prisoner at an island prison) “Write this - Blessed are those who are invited to the marriage supper of the Lamb!!”
{Mt.25:1-13 - In the parable of the ten bridesmaids, the door (that shuts) is to serving, called reigning during the Lord’s long second advent. In the parable, the door is to the wedding and banquet/reception/supper/feast {sharing}. Which represents the catching away of dead and alive believers - aka the resurrection, called the first {partial collective, eschatological} resurrection. It is the wedding, the union. — “The door” closes to “the” millennium. It is noT a door to Life, forever closed. The door is to the wedding supper/banquet/reception and what comes after, up to the second, rest of humanity, eschatological vivification, at Rev.21:1-5 when God says - “behold!! I make all new!” The word “things” in the verse, was added).
This vivification (“putting on of perfection”) however, is not simultaneous with its partner resurrection! But between the second resurrection, and the second vivification, is ‘Judgment Day’, the GWT judgment/discernment/review/closure for all ‘Day’. And to “rise into the judgment” Jn.5:29, is to rise “still in ones sins” [hamartia - missing the mark] {not yet perfected}.
The the GWT Judgment ‘Day’, elsewhere called an aionion kolasis/eonian korrection/age of correction, with logical, INITIAL INNER torment for some (few? comparatively speaking that is) aka, the condition of misery, being the inner, outside of the light, darkness ..with gnashing of teeth.. Think, for example, of a heartless and cruel despot, or a child trafficker, rising into the judgment’s bright radiance of God’s Presence..
But Jesus said he “will draw all” - Jn.12:32, so this tormented from within condition, will progress to weeping, beating self up.. “with many stripes”.. (Conscience is God’s whip?) And finally to heart and gut wrenching remorse (during judgment) when seeing the faces he stomped upon, the persons he/she hurt and harmed, even killed.
But finally, after a while (purgatory flames are psychological) coming to realize ..God, the waiting, loving Presence/Spirit (Holy Ghost all loving) and mercy.. “Christ Crucified”.. the remedy God instituted, it being strong enough to appease every guilty conscience, even the worst of the worst. {Imperfect is an abyss of potential, and entropy, a slow gehenna that “is not put out” - the “worm that “doesn’t quit”.}
The initial inner darkness condition of some is portrayed in the rich man and Lazarus parable and in the outside-of-the vision, narrative, of Rev.22.}
(9) And the angel said to me, “These are the true words of God!” 10 And I fell at his feet {overwhelmed?} to worship him, but he said, “Don’t do that! I am a fellow servant with you and your brethren who hold to the testimony of Jesus.” {Rev.12:17 w/ Mt.23:39.} “Worship God, for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.” {Prophecy includes the spirit of teaching. The prophets taught and guided, along with telling where things were/are headed.}
11 Then I saw heaven opened, and look! There was a white horse! {The gospel, the Truth, which rode forth “openly victorious over powers and principalities”. {Demons and kings. But then much later the return, after a “falling away” due to a “strong delusion” of “man(kind, anthropoi) seated in the temple as god”/as highest power, 2Thess.2:4.}
And the one - sitting on the white horse - is called “Faithful and True”. In righteousness he judges and makes war {rescues, vindicates, works justice}. 12 His eyes are like flames of fire {penetrate} and upon his head are many crowns. He has a name written that no one knows but he himself. 13 He is clothed in a robe that was dipped in blood, and the name by which he is called is The Word/Message of God. {Master blueprint and plan. Embodiment of Truth. Crowned forever.}
14 And the armies oF heaven, arrayed in fine linen, white and pure, were following him on white horses. 15 From his mouth comes a sharp sWord (Truth!) with which to strike down the nations, and he will {then} shepherd them {the nations/this is obviously future} with a rod {measuring rod} of iron {i.e. is un-breakable - truth cannot be broken, or done away with}. He treads the winepress of the fury of God the Almighty. [Fury - thumos - from thuo - to rush {7 thunders? Well, six.. as one is presently past} or to breathe hard] [Wrath - orgΓ© - passion, wrath, indignation, a settled and abiding condition of mind with a view to justice {scales of justice! Cause and effect!} Settled indignation going forth ‘wrath’/consequences] {at cruel and heartless evils! The passion.}
[Isaiah 13:9 says - Behold, the day of the LORD comes, cruel, with fury and fierce anger - to make the land a desolation, and to destroy its sinners from off it.] {But as cause and effect. Apocalypse is all man done. We have his number. Made up of carbon. Carbon has 6 protons, 6 neutrons, and 6 electrons. Even the final “bowls” called “of God’s wrath” ..The “seven thunders”. Though one is past.
Seven Thunders - Rev.10:4 (over and out, six are future. Didn’t 13:13 pinpoint an oFFice? NoT an individual.. as of yet). The thunders being Seal six but VEILED BY its description, a blend of its 1st aNd last effects, at the very beginning of the vision, Rev.6:12-17 -> 7:1,3.} {That 13:13 is the first seal 6 event, is possible because the vision is actually told three times, 6:1-2 to 11:19; ch.12 but vs.17 w/ mt.23:39; and 13:1 to 19:11, rejoining at the 7th trumpet’s sounding.}
16 On his robe and upon his thigh he has a name written, “King of kings and Lord of lords!” [Upon his robe - “Inscriptions on the outer garments were sometimes used by distinguished personages. The title anticipates the final victory - biblehub dot com.]

1 - After this I (John) heard what sounded like the loud voice of a great multitude in the heavens, crying out “Hallelujah! Salvation, glory and power belong to our God! 2 For his judgments are true and just! He has judged the great prostitute” {imo, $ity} who corrupted the earth with her immorality [greek, porneia] and he avenged [ekdikeΓ³ - gave justice over, defended, avenged, vindicated, (with) retribution] upon her for the blood of his servants.”
3 Once more they cried out, “Hallelujah!
The smoke from her goes up forever and ever.” {Considering Revelation 21:5, this must be her smoke rising forever in the memories of all. As where else? Considering also, 2Pet.3:12-13. Hallelujah! The proof straying/imperfection can never work, it being corruption/entropy, the ‘worm’ that never quits/does not reverse. Life hAs to be Perfect!}
4 And the twenty-four elders and the four living creatures fell down and worshiped God who was seated on the throne, saying, “Amen. Hallelujah!” 5 And from the throne came a voice saying, “Praise our God, all you his servants, all who revere him, small and great.”
6 Then I heard what seemed to be the voice of a great multitude, like the roar of many waters and the sound of mighty peals of thunder, crying out, “Hallelujah! For the Lord our God the All Mighty reigns. 7 Let us rejoice and exult and give him glory! For the marriage of the Lamb {union with/catching away} has come and his bride has made herself ready {Rev.7:9,4; Mt.25:10/1-13} 8 for it was granted to her, to clothe herself with fine linen, bright and pure”. {Wedding dress, for the union/marriage.} “For the fine linen is the justification of the saints [hagios - the set apart].”

9 - And the kings of earth, who were in bed with her and lived in luxury with her, will weep and mourn when they see the smoke of her burning. {$ity Babylon - who rode the beasts to all seven hills/continents.. Free enterprise highjacked. Rode (and traveled with) the beasts which will join but not really (Rev.13:1 w/ Dan.7:7,19, and Dan.2:36-45 shows us the metals are Rome and Greek, aka a western roots and foundation, many headed geopolitical beast/entity/institution. Within it, is ‘dove’ and vulture, Mt.24:28. The fallen as prey, the west once called Christendom having fallen away into “lawlessness” and deterioration.}
10 They will stand far off, watching from a distance in fear of her torment, and will say, “Alas! Alas! That great city {that ruled} that mighty city, Babylon! For in one hour your judgment has come.”
11 And the merchants of earth {also} will weep and mourn for her. For no one buys their cargoes anymore. 12 Products of gold and silver, precious stones, pearls, fine linen, silk and scarlet cloths, all fragrant woods, articles of ivory and fine wood, bronze, iron and marble. 13 And cinnamon, spice, incense, perfumes and ointments, frankincense, wine, oil, fine flour, wheat, cattle and sheep, horses and chariots, slaves, and human souls [psuche - soul, life, self, inner being] {human beings}. 14 “And the ripe fruit of you and the delicacies for which you lusted/longed for have gone from you. All your sumptuous splendors are lost to you and will not be found in you again.”
15 The merchants of these things, who grew wealthy from her (from the $ity, a modern day Baal?) will stand far off, in fear of her torment, loudly weeping and mourning, 16 “Alas, alas, for the great city that was clothed in fine linen, in purple and scarlet, adorned with gold, and jewels, and with pearls! 17 For in a single hour all that wealth has been laid waste.”
And all shipmasters and seafaring men/traders, sailors and all whose - trade is on the sea - stood far off, 18 and cried out when they saw the smoke of her burning, “What city was like the great $ity?!” 19 And they threw dust on their heads as they wept and mourned, crying out, “Alas, alas, for the great city - where all who had ships at sea grew rich by her costliness! For in one hour has she been laid waste.”
20 Rejoice over her, O heaven, and you saints and apostles and prophets, for God has given judgment against her! {As you have done so shall it fall upon you.. reaping what you sow..}
21 Then a mighty angel took up a stone like a great millstone and threw it into the sea, saying, “So will Babylon the great city be thrown down with violence, and will be found no more, 22 and the sound of harpists and musicians, of flute players and trumpeters, will no longer be heard in you, nor any craftsman of any craft will be found in you, nor sound of the mill, be heard in you. 23 The light of a lamp will not shine in you, and the voice of bridegroom and bride will not be heard in you any more, for her merchants were the great ones of earth, and all nations were deceived by your sorcery [pharmakeia - sorcery, witchcraft, magic, enchantment, spells, deception, corruption, beguilement.. {power to influence}].
24 And in her was found the blood of prophets and of saints, and of - all - who have been slain upon earth.” {Empire, personal or collective.}

1 - After (all) this I (John) saw another angel coming down from heaven. He had great authority, for the earth was made bright with his radiance.
2 He called out with a mighty voice, “Fallen! Fallen! Babylon - the great - is fallen! ‘She’ who became a dwelling place for demons! A haunt for every unclean predatory bird and spirit. {Truly dog eat dog?} {City Babylon sits on all seven hills/continents.. rode there upon the beasts of earth that will join into one beast.}
3 For all nations have drank the wine of her passion [orge - passion, wrath]. {This is the word translated wrath when it comes to “God’s wrath” which I think of as God’s “passion”. His passion being cause and effect because an Ant Farm is no paradise. And because it’s running its course even though he, as Life, witnesses and lives through all atrocities. I can’t help thinking some actual anger, however does come into play sometimes. The old Testament word means “smoke out the nose”. Lol. Can’t forget nations around Israel were sacrificing children and babies to a fire ‘god’. And preflood was hands off..?}
All nations have drank the wine of the wrath of her immorality. The kings of earth {are in bed with} have committed immorality with her. And the merchants of earth through her sensuality have grown rich. {Not only from free enterprise highjacked and gone extreme, but also by harnessing immorality, greek word porneia.].”
4 Then I heard another voice from heaven saying, “Come out of her, my people, lest you take part in her sins, and thus share in her plagues. 5 For her sins are heaped high as heaven {‘she’ shakes her fist at heaven?} and God has remembered her iniquities [adikΓ©ma - wrongdoings, injustices, offenses]. 6 Pay to her as she has paid to others. Repay her double what she has done, mix a double portion for her in the cup, she herself mixed. 7 As she glorified [doxazΓ³ - bestowed glory, honored, praised] herself and lived in indulgence and wantoness, so give her its torment and mourning. Because in her heart she says, ‘I am a queen, not a widow. And mourning I will never see.’ 8 For this reason her plagues [plΓ©gΓ© - plagues, wounds, afflictions, blows] will come in a day, death, mourning, famine. And she will be destroyed by fire, for mighty is the LORD God who judges her.” {Only Good and True can stand, and endure, an iron measure. Truth is, and Truth rules. But this contrast was all set on fast forward by fallen angels being involved.. Otherwise why did God wait …so long? Not only for the first bound to occur rebel thought to occur, but to mature into outright sedition, before creating the universe, earth and man and woman?}

(The angel continues.) 11 - “As for the beast that was and is not, it’s an eighth but it belongs to the seven {at final fulfillment, seven become one?} and it goes to destruction. 12 And the ten horns you saw are ten kings who have not yet received ruling power, but they are to receive authority as kings - for one hour [hΓ³ra - hour, time, finite season] - together with the beast{/entity/institution}. {Ten horns, kings, seats, divisions, toes-Dn2. Rev.13:5 - And a mouth was given to it, speaking great things and blasphemy, and it was given authority for forty and two months. Second 3.5 of a lauded treaty that alas only lasts 7 yrs.}
13 These (ten) are - of one mind - and they hand over their power and authority TO the beast. 14 They will make war against the Lamb (Ps.2, Rev.6:3-4) and the Lamb will prevail [nikaΓ³ - prevail, subdue, overcome, conquer, from nikΔ - have the victory, 1Cor.15:(22-)27-28] for he is Lord of lords and King of kings, and those with him are called and chosen and faithful.”
15 And the angel said to me, “The waters you saw, where the prostitute sits, are peoples, multitudes, nations and languages.16 And the ten horns and the beast {political} will hate the prostitute {$ity Babble}. They will make her desolate and naked, and devour {consume, waste} her and will burn her with fire {warfare, seal 2, but the seals are described as a blend of their first and last effects} 17 for God has put it into their hearts to carry out his purpose by being of one mind and handing over their royal power to the beast until the words of God are fulfilled. 18 And the woman you saw is the great city that has dominion over the kings of Earth.”

1 - Then one of the seven angels who had the seven (concurrent?) bowls came and said to me (disciple/apostle John) “Come, I’ll show you the {meanwhile} judgment of the great prostitute who is seated on many waters, 2 with whom the kings of earth have committed fornication.” {I.e, powers and politicians are in bed with her.} “And those upon Earth have become drunk with the wine of her indecencies.”
3 And the angel carried me away in the Spirit to a wilderness, and I saw a woman sitting on a scarlet beast that was full of slanderous insults/blasphemes, and it had seven heads and ten horns. {A many headed geopolitical beast, Dan.7:7,19, a key - the iron and bronze of Dan-2.} 4 The woman {riding the beast} was arrayed in purple and scarlet, and adorned with gold, jewels and pearls, holding in her hand a golden cup (to drink) full of abominations and impurities. {‘Her’ fruits and side effects.}
5 And on her forehead was written a name, “Mystery Babylon the Great, Mother of Prostitution [pornΓ© - probably from pernΓ©mi - to export for sale] and of all Earth's Abominations [bdΓ©lygma - from bdelΓ½ssΕ, derived from bdΔΕ, to reek {stink to high heaven ..as the saying goes} abhorrent, detestable]”. {$ity Babylon with it’s bright but garish streets and dark alleys, with a forehead/psyche/mind of ‘mystery babble’ - all confusion. Beast & $ity, Socialism & Capitalism both go extreme, free trade gone nutz and indecent. Oligarchy, but which ends up going all armageddon at each other(?) in the valley when assembled against Israel? Just a recurring question. Yet verses 12 and 16 for sure, which says “the ten horns ..are ten kings who for one hour receive authority ..along with the (many headed geopolitical) beast” of the hour “they will hate her, bring her to ruin, and consume/deplete her, and raze her with fire..” She rides the huge beast, but what will happen when the huge beast rides her?}
6 And I saw the woman {empire} drunk with the blood of saints, and of martyrs, and of Jesus.” And when I saw her I wondered greatly.
7 But the angel said, “Why do you wonder? I’ll tell you the mystery of the woman (the $ity) and of the beast with seven heads and ten horns that carries her.” {She rode the beasts, soon one, to all seven hills/continents.}
8 “The beast you saw was, then is not, and is destined to rise from the abyss” {of potential that imperfect is?} “and go to its destruction.” {History repeats, first was the Roman Empire later ‘Holy’ Roman Empire; then a modern last days “was, wasn’t ..then was again” after the 13:13 event, an event carried out by an oFFice.}
“And those upon earth whose names are not {yet} written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, will wonder, seeing the beast that was, and is not, and then is.
9 This all calls for a mind with wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains on which the woman is seated. {Seven hills/continents.} 10 They are also seven kings {world empires?} five have fallen, one is (Rome and all Roman based? During which there is “wars to the end” Dan.9:26) the other (global) has not yet come and when he/it does come, it must remain only a little while.” {Alas, though lauded as peace, peace! will only last seven years? And be broken in the middle against Israel (Luke 19:41,44?) Then - Dan.12:11 - “1,290 days later - that is 3.5 hebrew calendar years plus 30 days later - will be set up the (final) abomination which causes desolation” ..This time upon the human temple meant for God’s Spirit/Presence? 1Corinthians 3:16 - “know you not, you are a temple of God?” And then, next verse, Dan.12:12 - “blessed is the one/those who wait, and come to, the days, 1,335” which is 45 days later? The last “ten days” escalating to most critical-Rev.2:10? “until the end that is decreed is poured out..” Dan.9:27.}
