8 - And the four living creatures, each with six wings, full of eyes all around, and within, day and night never cease to say, “Holy, holy, holy, is the LORD God Almighty! Who was, and is, and is to come!”

     9 And whenever the living creatures give glory and honor and thanks to he who is seated on the throne, who lives forever and ever, 10 the twenty-four elders fall down before he who is seated on the throne. And they worship he who lives forever and ever.

     And they cast their crowns before the throne, saying, 11 “Worthy are you, our LORD and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for you created all, and by your will they exist and were created.” {The summary of what we learn, via life as we presently know it, this all important contrast, and crucible of imperfection, which alas, is an abyss of potential. And because God iS Life and “is perfect” (mt.5:48) is entropy, a slow gehenna process that “does not quit”. Thus! Christ Crucified, strong enough to convince and appease every conscience and psyche. Because no option to stray in Eden and we would have had to be an ant farm. We inherit enduring Life but which we fully know is His. THUS! the representatives (the waved in the air firstfruits representing the entire harvest) cast their crowns of Life to the feet of LORD God Almighty who is Life, and is the source of all and every good thing oF Life.}

Super Short Summary of the Book of Revelation - Apocalypse and Bible Prophecy

Keys ~ The Seals are elements of the last age/hour and are described as a blend of what they are when they begin and what they are at full maturity. Chapters 12 and 13 are an insert.. 13 describing how 12:17 will be carried out.. 12 is the history of the faith (Son of man, Herod the Great-indirectly, the 70 a.d. razing, the inquisitions, the Mayflower and verse 17 being the gathering to Armageddon (16:14-16; w/cross ref=Mt 23:39; And a cross-ref for 12:16 is Lk 23:28,31).

The false prophet/teacher/teaching has caused the falling away, and great delusion, of society and culture, turning Christendom on its ear.. $ity Babylon the harlot/"pornos"- (the greek) crashes in an hour and falls in a day, the merchants will weep for no one buys... Capitalism embraced pornos, and enchanted, thus ruining, the 7 continents. The kings/politicians are in bed with her and she reigns over them.

She rides the first beast of Rev 13, which 7th head, manifestation, expired but was rebuilt after the fire (13:13) upon earth by the 2nd (little) beast of chapter 13, which pinpoints, an office, and occurred in 1945 - so big and in our face (like the false prophet) no one sees it. The 'little' beast will (finally) give breath/authority to the 'big' (world) beast/governing and in the last hour ten kings of it/divisions/toes/horns, will raze the harlot, of babble-on and on. Socialism will finally devour Capitalism. The 'big' beast - the 'dove' will compatriot with the vulture - Rev 20:4d. ("Five months" helicopter enforced Martial Law under the 'destroyer'/anti-Christ.) Daniel 12:11,12 - in the midst of the 7 year 'peace' treaty, when the (place of?) daily prayers in Jerusalem is removed (Mt. 24:1,2 "not one stone of all these shall remain atop another") then, 3.5 (Hebrew) years plus 30 days later, the abomination (apparatus?) that desolates (666?) will be set-up. Happy the one who waits and comes to 45 days later. The last "ten days" escalating from cannot buy or sell, to will be killed? Day 45 = 7th trump. The bowls are just about(?) concurrent.. 2 Thess 1:7,8.

Currently we are in a pause (Rev 7:1,3) after seal 6 which was 13:13.

Key Word - LOVE

Bible prophecy, and the Book of Revelation, is not "God's Wrath"! It's simply prophecy. But it's prophecy from the ultimate source! And though I do not think the book's fulfillment is imminent, I do think it's very interesting and could be a handy thing to pass on to our children and grand children.

"God is LOVE" - 1 John 4:8.

"...we hope on the living God, who is Saviour of all men --" 1 Timothy 4:10. He made the sun to rise and the birds to sing.. Bible prophecy is the story of what man does. But it's told in bold and colorful images and in rich language. You can hear a symphony as you read it.. Well, not really, but I got caught up in the moment! And you almost can! The symbols of Revelation are like music notes of an orchestra, and once a note begins it continues to the 'end'. [In this way, things which occur very late, are told here at the beginning!]

I believe there's at least two keys needed for understanding the Book of Revelation. The first is in chapter six, where the prophecy begins, the "seals" are described as a blend of what they are at their beginning, and what they are fully grown and progressed.

The second key is to realize chapters twelve and thirteen are inserts. They are each a complete story and history on their own.

FAT MAN and LITTLE BOY Leap Upon The Stage

We're going to jump ahead for one moment to Revelation chapter thirteen.

Revelation 13, verse 13 - in Young's Literal Translation (YLT)

"..and it" - the second 'beast' of the chapter - "doth great signs, that fire also it may make to come down from the heaven to the earth before men.."

Many believe this will be a supernatural act, a magical trick of some sort. But I believe it occurred in 1945 at the bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki.

I also believe it is the sixth seal, of the seven seals of chapter six. The scroll is unrolled, breaking the seal, revealing the vision, the earth shakes, and mighty men of the earth hide in caves. I remember hearing of the bomb shelters that were built after that day.

The Seals of God are described in a blend of two strands:
 - #1 - what it is when it begins, and,
 - #2 - what it is at the 'end' in its full growth (gallup) and maturity.

This is never more true than with the sixth seal. But with the emphasis on its full blown effect.

Revelation 6:12-17 - Young's Literal Translation (YLT)

"And I saw when he opened the sixth seal, and lo, a great earthquake came, and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood, and the stars of the heaven fell to the earth -- as a fig-tree doth cast her winter figs, by a great wind being shaken -- and heaven departed as a scroll rolled up, and every mountain and island -- out of their places were moved; and the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich, and the chiefs of thousands, and the mighty, and every servant, and every freeman, hid themselves in the dens, and in the rocks of the mountains, and they say to the mountains and to the rocks, `Fall upon us, and hide us from the face of Him who is sitting upon the throne, and from the anger of the Lamb,' because come did the great day of His anger, and who is able to stand?"

And after this -

Revelation 7:1 - King James Version (KJV)

"And after these things I saw four angels standing on the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, that the wind should not blow on the earth, nor on the sea, nor on any tree.."

The Winds of the Sixth Seal are held back. Its winds are paused, and this is exactly where planet Earth is now in the unfolding of Bible prophecy. How long we remain here, would likely be the question. During the pause "servants of God are sealed on their foreheads, a hundred and forty-four thousand of Israel, and a great crowd from every land, nation and tribe". (The order being vice-versa, as shortly after Israel recognizes Jesus as Messiah, is when Jesus returns, Mt 23:39.)

Then, when the seventh seal on the scroll is broken there is silence in heaven for half an hour. I believe the seventh seal is broken when the pause of thermonuclear warfare is broken. Seven angels who stand before God are given seven trumpets, and they prepare to sound. (Things escalate.)

The seven trumpets are in that last seal. In order to keep this study brief and to the point, I am assuming it's likely any reader of this is acquainted somewhat with the Book of Revelation and knows what the Seals, Trumpets, and Bowls or Vials are. I would be more than happy to reply to the question if not however.

By describing the sixth seal in its maturity of effect, the vision is in a degree, locked. For it describes things which happen very late on the planet, here so early on in the narrative!

TWO MORE MAJOR ELEMENTS OF THE AGE / SEALS

Book of Revelation ("Revealing") 6:9-17

When the Lamb of God (Jesus) unrolls the prophetic scroll, breaking the fifth seal on the scroll, we are shown and can hear those who have been slain for the Word of God and their testimony, saying "when will you avenge our blood upon Earth O Lord?" This is like the voice of Abel's blood crying out to God from the ground. A white robe is given to each of them and they are told to rest a while longer, until those who would be killed as they were, is completed. This element of the latter age (and fifth seal) is martyrdom (which of course has been going on since before Nero.)

When the sixth seal is opened, all hades breaks loose! (Not "the grave" but that other translation, "hell".) A spiritual earthquake that progresses into the very shaking of the earth. The very fabric of life changes.

THE FOUR HORSEMEN OF THE APOCALYPSE

Book of Revelation 6:1-8

The scroll of the Revelation vision is kept rolled closed by seven seals. As the Lamb of God (Jesus who was slain for Earth's rescue) unrolls the scroll, each time he breaks one of the first four seals, a horse and rider come riding, each one of a different color.

The first horse is white, and its rider "went out conquering and to conquer". Many believe this first seal and horse and rider to be a last days false gospel and world religion. But I believe the seals span the whole latter age, the years of our Lord, A.D. and I believe it is the glorious gospel which conquered and was "openly victorious over powers and principalities", namely those ancient fierce 'gods'.

The four horsemen of the apocalypse continue their ride (from canter to gallop?) throughout the age, and to the 'end'. Each seal progresses from its beginning to the end of the age.

There's a 'lock on the vision' here. Each seal is described at it's opening (breaking) as a blend of two things. What it is at its beginning and what it is at its full progression and maturity. In this way, things which occur very late on the planet, are described here so very early on in the narrative!!

The second horse with rider, is red, he is war, and he is "given a long" or some versions say, "great sword" - our first look at thermo-nuclear weaponry?

The third horse is black and its rider holds a scale. He is imbalance and shortage, especially as a companion to war.

The fourth horse is a pale (or green) horse, and his rider is called "death" and "the grave follows after him". (Including the mass grave.) Many interpretations translate this as "and hell follows after him". But "the grave" is a closer translation.

I recently listened to a preacher who said the white horse is Roman Catholicism (or a form of it), the red horse is Communism, the black horse is Capitalism and the green horse is that radical religion we hear so much about these days. These also fit. I often think Bible prophecy is wider, more nimble than we realize and more than one interpretation works very well together. (To say nothing of different fulfillments of Old Testament prophecies from the time they were written, usually at least two, a 'soon' one and an 'end' times fulfillment.)

In summary - the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse (the Unveiling/Revelation) - Conquering gospel (with shadow rider, false? all forms) - War - Shortage & Inequity - that sad horror, the Mass Grave

REVELATION STUDY - INTRODUCTION

This study will be in little bites, pun intended! And it will start at chapter six - because the Book of Revelation prophecy vision rolls out from chapter six.

However, there are some awesome things written in chapters one through five! Jesus is given a scroll, and at chapter six He unrolls it. This is the Revelation prophecy.

The scroll is sealed with seven seals which are broken, consecutively, as He unrolls the scroll. When the first seal is broken, the first horseman of the apocalypse - one of four - comes riding out.

"Apocalypse" which the Book of Revelation is often called, is a Greek word which means the "unveiling". The Book of Revelation is the climax of mankind's story and history. Without a climax and conclusion, nothing would be learned. Even "the angels are watching.."

The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse

It's widely believed that the "Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse" (rev/apoc chapter 6) begin their gallop during very latter days. I strongly disagree with this! Their gallop, progression, escalates during very latter days, but begins much sooner. The first horse and rider is upon a white horse. He comes riding out into Earth's story when the "first seal" of the "Seven Seals" is opened in heaven.
- The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse are the first four "seals". They begin their ride when each seal is "opened". This first horseman wears a crown of victory and has conquered. This seal, or element of the latter age (the years of our Lord A.D.) is the conquering march of the gospel (the good news of death and the grave overcome).
- The second horseman is war, man and history's constant companion, this one (eventually) is given "a long sword" (surely our modern weaponry).
- The third horseman is holding an imbalanced scale and is called famine (a companion to war).
- The fourth horseman is another companion to war, pestilence (which will come to include chemical pestilence). This horseman has a name and his name is death and the grave follows him. Most translations say "hades" or "hell" follows him, but a much more accurate translation in tune with the "Sheol" of the Old Testament, is simply, "the grave". This fourth horseman includes the mass grave wherever (and whenever) it has occurred. All these riders escalate as very last days (of man's system) progress.
