1 - Then I (John) saw in the right hand of he who was seated on the throne, a scroll written within and on the back. And it was sealed with seven seals.
2 And I saw a mighty angel proclaiming with a loud voice, “Who is worthy to open the scroll?! And to break its seals?” 3 And no one in heaven or upon earth or under earth was able to open the scroll or to look into it. 4 And I began to weep loudly because no one was found worthy to open the scroll or to look into it. 5 But one of the elders said to me, “Weep no more. Look! The Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has conquered. He can open the scroll and its seven seals.” {Secrets, keys(?) to the vision and Truth about to be unveiled..} [Root - rhiza - metaphorically/spiritually - cause, origin, source (of shepherd turned king, David {and of all}).]
6 And then, with the throne and the four living creatures, and among the elders, I saw a Lamb standing, as though slain. It had seven horns and seven eyes, which is the sevenfold {perfect} spirit oF God *sent* into all the earth. {The pure, uncontaminated Holy Ghost/Presence/Spirit oF God the Father. The Son is the proto/first, the onLy straight out from God one. So close both Father and Son administer God’s Spirit/Presence. The same as will saturate, thus “seal” humanity and all creation.. “The lion will eat straw like the ox, the bear will graze with the cow” Isaiah 11:7. {But first Is.24:20/Rev.10:4 followed by Jesus’ long second advent, theN the (fiery) “palin/again-genesis” when God says “behold! I make all (pas - all) new!” and God “will now *Tabernacle* with mankind..” {Note: there is narrative in Rev.22 that is spoken outside of the vision. And had mankind not become carnivore they would have become prey? Straying/imPerfection/entropy (the worm and slow gehenna fire that “does not quit”) is a potential abyss of possibilities.}

8 - And the four living creatures, each with six wings, full of eyes all around, and within, day and night never cease to say, “Holy, holy, holy, is the LORD God Almighty! Who was, and is, and is to come!”
9 And whenever the living creatures give glory and honor and thanks to he who is seated on the throne, who lives forever and ever, 10 the twenty-four elders fall down before he who is seated on the throne. And they worship he who lives forever and ever.
And they cast their crowns before the throne, saying, 11 “Worthy are you, our LORD and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for you created all, and by your will they exist and were created.” {The summary of what we learn, via life as we presently know it, this all important contrast, and crucible of imperfection, which alas, is an abyss of potential. And because God iS Life and “is perfect” (mt.5:48) is entropy, a slow gehenna process that “does not quit”. Thus! Christ Crucified, strong enough to convince and appease every conscience and psyche. Because no option to stray in Eden and we would have had to be an ant farm. We inherit enduring Life but which we fully know is His. THUS! the representatives (the waved in the air firstfruits representing the entire harvest) cast their crowns of Life to the feet of LORD God Almighty who is Life, and is the source of all and every good thing oF Life.}

1 - After this I looked, and behold, a door open in heaven! And the first voice [greek phΓ³nΓ©] which I had heard earlier speaking to me like a trumpet, said, “Come up here (John) and I will show you what will [dei - necessarily inevitably] happen.” 2 At once I was in the Spirit, and behold, a throne stood in heaven, with one seated upon the throne. 3 And he who sat there was in radiance like fiery gems, and around the throne was a rainbow with the appearance of an emerald. 4 Around the throne [thronos - throne. seat] were twenty-four thrones [thronos] and seated upon them were twenty-four elders, clothed in white garments, with golden crowns on their heads. {Crowns of Life? Gold represents God’s Spirit/Presence.} 5 From the throne came flashes of lightning, rumblings and peals of thunder. And before the throne were seven [hepta] torches of fire burning brightly, which is the sevenfold (full, complete) spirit of God. 6 And before the throne there was as it were a sea of glass, like crystal. {We shall all be pure as crystal. Truly. ..Life as we presently know it, is an unavoidable, but all important contrast.} [Seven - the Hebrew/Old Testament word for seven is shaba - which is from a root word that means to swear or take an oath, and is often associated with the number seven, indicating the completeness or binding nature of an oath {! Isaiah 45:23 - “I have sworn [shaba - to seven oneself, swear on oath] by my own name” (there being none higher) “I have spoken the truth, and I will never go back on my word, every knee will bend to me, and every tongue will declare - allegiance - to me.” Romans 3:4 - “If every person be false, yet God is true! As it’s written, "That You (God) may be justified in Your words, and will prevail in Your being judged." Part of that “8th ‘day’” (millennium, Rev.20.)
And in the midst of, and all around the throne, on each side of the throne, were four large living creatures, full of eyes in front and behind. 7 The first living creature was like a lion, the second like an ox, the third with the face of a man, and the fourth was like an eagle in flight. {Creation! ..It’s not so much an issue of what God, wonderful God, hAs created, but what he iS creating. Just HOW do you create genuinely able to think and reason beings, aNd, keep paradise/perfection intact? He iS life, so lives through all that ever occurs and endowed thinking/reasoning/logos to mankind and angelkind anyway!}

I wish that you were either cold or hot. 16 So, because you’re lukewarm, and neither hot nor cold, I will” [mellΓ³ - intend to, to be destined, am about to] “spit you out of my mouth. 17 For you say, ‘I’m rich, I’ve prospered, and I need nothing’. (The Greek word Philadelphia means “brotherly love” sisterly too!) 7 - “To the angel of the church in Philadelphia write: These are the words of he who is holy and true, he who holds the key of David. What he opens no one can shut. And what he shuts no one can open. 8 I know your deeds. And I have placed before you an open door that no one can shut. I know you have but little strength, yet you’ve kept my word, and you’ve not denied my name.
9 I’ll make those who are of the seat of Satan, who claim to be chosen {and elite} though they’re not, but are liars.. {Such as maneuvered Jesus’ execution. Was politics. Not spiritual/religious. Neither were the inquisitions or even the crusades which were perhaps partially religious.} I will make them come and fall down at your feet and acknowledge that I have loved you. 10 Since you have kept my command to endure patiently {being of LOVE? brotherly/sisterly love} I will-keep-you-from the hour of trial that is coming upon all the world to test the inhabitants of earth. (Rev.7:15b-17)
11 I am coming quickly. [Literally, the sentence has two words - erchomai - to come or go; and tachu - quickly, swiftly, oR soon.] Hold on to what you have, so no one will take your crown. {Of Life, not metal.} 12 The one who overcomes I will make a pillar in the temple of my God. Never again will they leave it. {Overcome what? The lower self centered self. Yes?} I will write on them the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, the new Jerusalem, which is coming down out of heaven from my God [to the earth!] and I will also write on them my new name. 13 Whoever has ears, let them hear what the Spirit says to the churches. {And to all believers …called the church or churches. Not the buildings. Though those in the buildings, yes. Philadelphia believers (aka, of Love) are the only ones the Lord says he will keep safe from “the hour” of trial -> Rev.17:12,16; Dn.12:11-11 w/ Lk.19:41,44 and 1Cor.3:16? As the last “ten days tribulation”?}

1 - “And to the angel {angelo - messenger} of the church in Sardis write: ‘These are the words of he who has the seven spirits of God and the seven stars - I know your works. You have the reputation of being alive, but you’re dead {are lacking life}. 2 Wake up [ginomai grΓ©goreΓ³ - be watching, vigilant, alert] and strengthen what remains, but is about to die, for I’ve not found your works complete in the sight of God. 3 Remember what you received and what you heard. Keep it, and repent [metanoeo - think better and turn]. If you will not wake up, I will come like a thief, and you won’t know at what hour I come {unavoidably} against you. {In other words? Get it together!} 4 Yet you have still a few in Sardis who have not soiled their garments {contaminated/diluted their walk? Because the doctrine/belief is soiled?} and they will walk with me in white, for they’re worthy. {Having “washed their robes/garments in the blood/Life of the Lamb”. Ultimately all will be clear as crystal. Jn.12:32} 5 For the one who overcomes [nikaΓ³ - from nΓkΔ - victory; to conquer, overcome, prevail, carry off the victory, come off victorious] will be clothed in white garments, and I will never remove their name from the book of life. I will confess their name before my Father and before his angels. 6 Whoever who has an ear, let them hear. (What the Spirit says to the churches/believers).’
